Zines
Hello and welcome to the page where I store my free zines! Essentially, a zine is a little booklet, a tiny magazine if you will, that can be about any topic under the sun. I once had a very spirited conversation while wandering around Cardiff about how they essentially carried subculture before the internet came along. Before now, my only relationship with the teeny books of anything and everything was being a consumer of them. I can't quite say what inspired my zine kick, but I was like yeah, I can do that, so I did!

Instructions to possess your own MezzaZine:
​
1. Click the "download" button or the image of the zine cover you fancy to open the PDF in a new window
2. Download that PDF using the "open with preview" button or "download" button
3. Print it!
4. Have a watch of my "zine folding" video
5. Voila! You are now the proud owner of a MezzaZine!
Oh Baby
Songs That are Stuck in My Head Zine 1
This particular instalment of zines is of songs that I think are particularly cool, and/or ones that I listen to on repeat for 72 hours straight right after I find them.

The song it illustrates is"Oh Baby" by LCD Soundsystem off their 2017 album 'American Dream'. I would really recommend listening to it, as it slaps.
This also marks the first zine I created after rediscovering my box of glitter, a historic event.
leather jacket
Things Zine 1
I have had a few leather jackets in my lifetime, but none have quite been perfect. Whether they've been much too oversized, hilariously too tight, or just a weird length, none of them have done the job. And by job I mean made me feel like I could confidently, and mysteriously, win any bar fight I should come across.

However, thanks to many nights of scrolling through Depop, and happening upon the sweetest seller, I was finally connected with the leather jacket of my daydreams, for an unreasonably affordable price too.
​
I would also highly recommend listening to "Leather Jacket" by Thunderbitch, it is an absolute bop.
HEAVY
Feel Things Zine 2
The second instalment in the "Feel Things" series of zines, meet "Heavy".
​
Behind this very high def photo of the one and only Debbie Harry is a zine about feeling heavy, feeling like every cell in your entire body has been systematically replaced with lead particles.
While it doesn't offer any reprieve from this gargantuan feeling of nothingness, it is just a thing to say, it happens.
​
It features little doodles by me, and if you would like to see more of them head on over to my instagram mezdrawsthings (theres a link at the bottom of this page!). There is also a very cute rat in it, so I'd reccomend taking a look just for that.

Songs That are Stuck in My Head Zine 2
This particular instalment of zines is of songs that I think are particularly cool, and/or ones that I listen to on repeat for 72 hours straight right after I find them. This absolute gem of a French pop anthem was played, I believe, for 14 hours on repeat (so far).

The song it illustrates is"C'est beau la bourgeoisie" by...well I dont rightly know, I've listed it as Disco Bitch (what a name) but the version I've been listening to is by Variété Français. Although, essentially, whichever version you listen to, it is a bop.
It also features a little doodle of the singer and her orange bob (I couldn't find her referred to as anything except "Disco Bitch" heheh), if you would like to see more doodles head on over to my instagram linked below!
I'm Tired, So Tired
Feel Things Zine 3
This is the third instalment in the "feel things" zine collection, and is a bit of a mish mash.
​
As you may be able to tell I was feeling very tired, drained even, and this is what came of it. The title is a line from Weezer's "Tired of Sex" and there are also lyrics from one of my favourite Vaccines songs "Weirdo" which I would highly recommend listening to.
​
